The cancer has spread to her liver and sternum and is now incurable. A mammogram showed a non-fluid lump in her breast tissue which had increased in size after one month. The doctor failed to note this and simply recommended she use ‘moist heat’ treatment three times daily. The doctor also advised her to wait 6 months before her next mammogram.
