It was found that paracetamol was just as effective in reduce arthritic pain as Celebrex and Ibuprofen. Furthermore, paracetamol produced fewer side effects and was less expensive. Celebrex became infamous for it’s recently discovered risk of heart disease. Anti-inflammatories are notorious for their associated risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding. Researchers recommend that all osteoarthritis sufferers should reassess their use of anti-inflammatories.
