However, other persistant symptoms such as abdominal bloating, intermittent diarrhea and fatigue continued to plague her. Doctors could not find anything wrong. Several years later, she was prevented from donating blood due to anaemia and eventually her hematologist-oncologist worked out she had celiac’s disease.
